This course aims to provide students with basic knowledge of fundamental accounting principles. Accounting system is an important sub-system in the management information system that provides needed information for decision makers. This course includes accrual basic accounting, basic processes in an accounting cycle (e.g., documents, accounts and chart of accounts, double-entry system, accounting records, and financial statements) for service and merchandising activities.
