This course provides fundamental knowledge of finance and monetary economics, including: the role of money and the financial system; understanding interest rates; financial markets and information efficiency; asymmetric information and corporate financial structure; banks and financial institutions; monetary policy instruments; the foreign exchange market and the international financial system.
