Research activities are necessary to help managers understand better the changes in the business environment in order to have information to make rational and effective decisions in business activities. Therefore, the course is designed to equip learners with basic research knowledge, methods and tools commonly used in research activities to be able to identify properly research problems, establish appropriate research procedures, and identify tests that are consistent with the proposed hypotheses.

• Getting the right awareness related to research concepts and research methods commonly used in the field of management.

• Having a scientific understanding of identifying and raising research problems in areas related to business administration activities: finance, projects, human resources, strategy, leadership behavior, business international…

• Recognizing how to establish a research protocol and the steps to conduct a research process with high accuracy and reliability.

• Understanding common testing methods used to test hypotheses in quantitative research.

Skills:

• Equipping the necessary skills to identify and state a research problem in areas related to business administration: finance, project management, human resources, strategy, leadership behavior, business international…

• Setting up a research protocol and steps to conduct a research process with high authenticity and reliability.

• Having skills in designing questionnaires to collect information.

• Getting skills in data processing results to confirm or refute the research hypotheses posed in the research topic and analytical skills to present research results.

To achieve good results in this subject, learners should:

• Having necessary background knowledge of subjects in the field of business administration to be able to analyze research problems in these fields.

• Need to be equipped with knowledge of the subject of econometrics (probability and statistics) to be able to grasp sampling methods and understand the meaning of basic statistical tests.

• Attending classes: attend all group sessions and presentations.

• Exercising active discussion in group work and pre-reading of required documents.

Tools and learning materials: each learner should be equipped with a laptop pre-installed with SPSS software.
