This course will introduce students to hospitality information systems, telecommunications infrastructure, and internet networks, how these components connect and operate, as well as how to run the systems. Students will be guided to learn about e-commerce and current strategies for the hospitality industry through digital environments, mobile platforms, booking applications & software, global room booking, and the application of information technology in managing human resources, marketing, sales, and security systems for the hospitality industry.
