The issue of the information security of any organization whether large or small in the context of Industrial Revolution 4.0 is an increasing challenge. Threats to information security (including accounting information) such as espionage, trespass, malware, and phishing attacks, ... are global, persistent, and sophisticated. To develop secure computing environments of the future, organizations are looking to the next generation of professionals who have the knowledge, skills, and experience to address complex information security management issues.

This course provides an overview of information security as well as representing the security system development life cycle in today’s business environment. It emphasizes how to recognize threats and attacks, how to evaluate current risk management, how to design security policies, standards, and practices to build up a security blueprint, how to set up a SETA (security education training awareness) program, how to apply access controls and physical access controls in information security, and how to implement, maintain and change information security program.

With the knowledge, skills, and attitudes provided in this course, learners can gain in-depth knowledge of accounting information security in the digital world as well as be experts at assessing the risk and (accounting) information security in organizations.
