This course introduces students to a toolkit that highlights emerging innovative processes, methods, and mechanisms that foster the engagement of civil society, the private sector, and stakeholders. It aims to assist governments, civil society, and other relevant stakeholders in having a common and shared understanding of civic engagement and the necessary knowledge and capacity to establish, design, formulate, implement, evaluate, and monitor public and socio-economic policies and programs with greater engagement of all stakeholders. Participatory community design (PCD) will also be briefly introduced. The course also guides and lets students choose their case studies to practice some of the methods and mechanisms taught in the theory part, fostering critical thinking, debate, teamwork, and multi-party collaboration. 

This course aims to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills necessary for effective self-management and personal development. Through a combination of theoretical concepts, practical exercises, and self-assessment tools, students will learn how to optimize their time, set and achieve goals, and improve overall well-being.
